Voodoo Companion
Every time a princess is officiated, they come into having their companion. Not a familiar. It is similar to one, but no one wants to call it that because of how afraid people are of witches. We are two parallels all the same. We both have magic and a companion. It is just where one is seen as bright and beautiful, while the other is dark and scary. My name is Princess Dolly. Our names help us to be able to guess what we will be the princess of and what our companion may be.

Baking’s a Blast!
I was so excited to be in the Baking’s a Blast competition. Some of the bakers of our town have come to showcase their cake that makes a blast. Last year a rocket launching cake won. No one understood how the baker made the sugar come out of the bottom of the cake without flying everywhere in disaster. It somehow ended clean with the rocket boosted above hardened marshmallow fluff. This year I have already seen a mermaid cake splashing “water” icing with a lemon flavor on the inside.

Disney has done this with stories like Sleeping Beauty, where the tale originated as a rape story. Children of the past were not censored from these cautionary tales. Let’s visit some that may not be as well known:

Leaping Day Miss Mary May!
For Leap Day Miss Mary May wanted to be able to leap like the frogs in her pond, so she took some floaties out to the water. When she hopped, the floaties would tilt over and splash her down to the water. The frogs tried to help her out by telling her she could leap onto logs, but she told them logs would probably roll too much and she would still fall.
