I am Dieudonné. I can see the true face of people. Far from a curse, I see it as a blessing. I chased away my father, for he had the face of a coward. I left my mother, for she had the face of a liar. And everyday under the cruel sun I saw countless faces; not of brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers, no, far from that! But of rats scurrying about. Their eyes blacker even than their skin, and what drives them truly, darker still.
