Lost
“Hi, I’m Ethan!” I hear a 6-year-old boy shout behind me, who looked to be only a year older than me. I turn around to be faced with a pale, short boy with hazel eyes, messy, dark brown hair; ears that stick out like a monkey, and a smile so big that could change the world.

A Goodbye to my Father
Dad, I wonder if you look down and see the harm that was done by your death, did you ever think? I used to be so angry with you, asking and screaming up to the sky, "why did you do this to me?" i hate you.
For my whole life I have never been able to ever say I hated someone, but you... I hate you. I hated the way your hands clasped around mine, making me believe you wanted to hold my hand. I hated the way you kissed my lips, pretending you have been dying to do that all day. I hated you for saying the words "I love you", countless of times, making me believe you actually did. I hated the way you would yell at me for not listening, when you were too busy to realize you were killing me. I hated the way you would blame me for everything, when all the problems that arose were caused by you. I hated the way you screamed in my face and made me feel like you were going to hurt me. I hated the way you would roll your eyes whenever I told you about my day. I hated that you never listened. I hated that you came and go, telling me how sorry you were. I hated how you made so many promises, only to be broken a few weeks later. I hated how you befriended by abusive stepfather, not caring how that made me feel. I hated how you gave me a promise ring and promised to never be an asshole to me, only to call me names the next day.

However, I will be discussing how and why homelessness is a social problem and possible ways it can potentially be reduced.

The act of sex and sexual behavior is often criminalized; however, it is a natural behavior that occurs in everyday life (unknown author, pg. 384). However, one social problem that can occur with sexual behavior is teen pregnancy. Teenagers are more sexually active today than any time before the sexual revolution. With that, there comes increased chances of teenage pregnancy, which, itself is a social problem with many stereotypes put on it.

The Three Main Components of the Criminal Justice System
Three main components make up our criminal justice system: Law Enforcement, Courts, and Corrections. An easier way to put it in is the three C’s, cops, courts, and corrections. They all work together and go in hand with one another in some way, which is by apprehending, trying, and punishing offenders. They all work to deter and prevent crime. Police detect crime and detain offenders, courts adjudicate, sentence punishments, and the correctional system punishes or rehabilitates.

What Depression Is Really Like
Depression; a horrible, horrible mental illness. Many people see it as sadness or negative feelings; no, it is way more than that. Depression is like a war going on inside your head.
