“The only thing holding you back is you.”
I’m in my teens, and I’ve realized that math is required to achieve my longterm goal of becoming a vet. I am bad at math — for the most part, my teachers weren’t taught how to make it enjoyable for me, and I have some form of dyscalculia. It’s not formally diagnosed, but when you know what to look for it’s rather obvious.

What We Owe Each Other
Recently, I was made aware that someone had been emotionally manipulative with someone 30 years their junior. I was afraid to approach the situation at first, but my concern ramped up significantly when I found that the concerning behavior ramped up when the other party started dating someone.

The job industry is rotten to the core
My former boss is hiring. Here's a small part of the job description: "At the current time, we only have part-time work available therefore you MUST have either another source of income, be a full-time student or are in a living arrangement where you do not need full-time pay. We ask that you make at least a 6-month commitment to us (this is not just a "summer job" or an "until I find a full time job" job). We work in all types of weather: heat, cold, rain IN ADDITION to all major holidays. There are no "sick" days unless there is an extreme situation that would not allow you to work. You must be able to pass a criminal background check. You also need reliable transportation."

Should You Move to Dallas?
I get it: big companies and our government are trying to incentivize people to come to Dallas. There's a lot of diversity here, the Ritz is iconic, you can find some pretty good food, you're thirty minutes away from almost everything (put a pin in that, I'll get back to it later), and the DFW airport is one of the largest in the state.

Why I don't recommend Favor delivery
Favor claims to be "fun and rewarding!" to deliver for. My experiences have been anything but. For one thing, they pay their drivers $2 per trip. This does not account for time spent or distance traveled. They did kick in an extra bonus for the rising gas prices--a hefty 50 cents per delivery.

I saw The Batman... and it's really, really bad
I'm very confused about the public reception of the newest version of Batman's story. I don't have a problem with Robert Pattinson as Batman, except for the fact that I view Batman as a person who is much, much older than I am. In my opinion, if DC wants to create a new Batman film with a younger protagonist, they should Dick Grayson. Fans have been clamoring for the rest of the Batfamily to be included in the cinematic universe for years, and yet the film industry insists on sticking to the same story, told over and over and over again.

What I don't like about Vocal
I don't think Vocal understands their audience. Multiple people have said they have spent their last dollar on a subscription. They did this because Vocal offered hope in the form of elusive prize money, received only after entering subscription-exclusive content.

Household Antibiotics
Note before we start: I've done my best to link to credible studies for every single ingredient I mention. I'm not a scientist and only made it to the second round of highschool biology. I'm sharing this because I think it might be helpful for those who are short on cash, who would like some relief before they are able to leave the house to see the doctor, or who get sick at a time or in an area where a doctor is unreachable. Please double check everything I say, I am not a doctor.
