Thoughts like Water
I shoved you out of my life. I closed all doors and locked all locks. I swallowed all the keys. I closed all the curtains. I built a barrier around the house. You can't hurt me if I can't see you, hear you, feel you. But the thought of you is enough. It's like water seeping in from the cracks that overflows my mind with images and audio. Your face, hands, voice, footsteps. I may not be able to see you, hear you, feel you, but I can in my mind. I can see, hear, and feel everything about you. I can't stop. I can't get it out. I did everything I could to keep the light from coming in, but not the water.

Nature Caressing Me
The earth below my feet grounded me. I was connected to the trees through the roots in the ground beneath my body. The wind brushing against my ears and skin, softly playing through my hair. It gave me a hug as it disintegrated me into air. The loud beauty of the rushing water could be heard from the lake nearby. No flowers around me, but I didn't mind. There were tall green trees instead. Only one bird could be heard. Hypnotized by its song, I followed and found a red jay. My eyes glued to it, until it flew away. If only I could perfectly explain how I see everything, but the words could only flow through the sensation of nature caressing me.
