Hitting the Road
When I was a kid, one of my favorite times of the year was the beginning of Summer. Asides from the fact that this meant two months out of school and sleeping until noon, it meant that it was time for us to pack up to head out on our annual summer vacation. Every year meant a new location. Sometimes we'd go to visit out of state relatives, and sometimes it was just to have fun. Either way, I knew I was going on an adventure.

My body, my struggles
I've just done something that always sends a sense of terror through me whenever it comes up, I stepped on the scale. I'll be honest, after the results, I am feeling even more terror. My weight has always been a sensitive subject for me, though up until the last few years, has never actually been out of control. I'm trying to think of how I got to this place, but I know I have to regain control.

For a moment she felt afraid, but that fear quickly faded as she looked around. Surrounding her was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen. She looked around with amazement.

Quiet On the Set
A few weeks ago, I learned that ID was airing a documentary about Nickelodeon. As someone who grew up on Nick, I was eager to watch. In recent years, there have been a number of actors and actresses come forward with stories from there times with the network. After watching all four episodes, I was saddened to discover the terrible things that happened behind these shows that brought me so much joy as a kid. I admire those who were brave enough to share their stories.

The Day that Changed Everything
I've been wanting to write this story for awhile now. They say some things you never forget. Twenty years later, sometimes it still feels like yesterday. Deep down, the pain is still there, though I have learned to keep going. Although my head is full of the good memories, those days leading up to and after that day still linger. This is my story.

Us... A New Story
From the first time you crossed my path, I knew you were special. Before I even knew your name, I had a feeling. a feeling our paths were supposed to cross. Sometimes I still get shy, my words jumble somewhere between my head and my heart, but one thing stays the same. You're still special to me.
