Words

Words are powerful, given strength by your conviction.

There is nothing more destructive, no bomb or any element.

But we speak them so freely, without thought or any fuss. Disregarding any consequence, take heed I think you must.

We wage war in the name which changes often over the centuries.

Why can't people see it's themselves to blame with all their prejudices.

It may start with good intentions and a cause that may seem just.

But it always ends in lying, cheating, fighting and blood lust.

There is always an alternative, so think of better answers.

It doesn't have to come to blows or start a new encounter. Belligerence don't need an excuse so think first before you speak.

A situation you may just defuse before things become too bleak.

Words can be used in many ways, not least in love and laughter.

Let your neighbor feel this way, the right words to say are out there.

If we all took up this stance to think before you act.

You would see a better place and that my friend is fact.

Voices low with vacant stares, soliloquies are sometimes opened. Madness is sometimes there a condition we all can suffer from.

A moment we need to share can be pushed deep down to be forgotten.

If only there was someone there to care and be begotten

Screaming can be a release or a systematic disorder.

Some try and calm or call the police, put behind some bricks and mortar.

But secretly they sympathies, inside they feel the same.

They let no others know this fact for fear they seem insane.

Cognitive reflection may leave us thinking long and hard.

A diminutive inspection often leads on to moral calm.

If all the things we've said and done are taken as one big whole. There would be a more forgiving son to lay to rest our soul.

At the end, our time has come, what epitome is left behind.

A kind regard to what has past and thoughts pleasant I hope you'll find.

It's been hard at times with work sweat and tears.

But it's all been worth the while, standing tall among one's peers.
