Window

Can I sit by the window

And stare in to the dark

While listening to the rain

And having you deep in my heart

Will it leap when I think of you

Sitting by that window

Or will it ping in pain

And put tears on my pillow

Can you feel me thinking of you

Sitting by this window

Or do you not have a clue

Of what my heart feels for you

As I stare out in to the darkness

I can't wait to see you again

And embrace you in my arms

Like lovers in love once again
