What Am I?

Finding a Way Through

I believe that writing is personal, it's a substrate of a person's true feelings. "What Am I?" is one of the poems I wrote after some soul searching, though I always go back to my insecurities about life, I am glad that every once In a while I get to write something like this.

What Am I?

I am a tree with no true roots.

A story with no beginning.

A road with no destination.

I am a woman,

A girl foreign to freedom.

I see pain only to feel it,

I hide what's mine and fear what's yours.

I stay, not to live, but to love.

To give closure,

To strengthen.

I forget to hurt but forgive to relieve.

I am a stream within one direction,

Wash away.

Only what wants remains forever.

I am a mocking bird with one true tune 'peace'

A beginning to most endings.
