What I see
Most people would say that this is just a drawing
A bunch of scribbles on a blank piece of paper
I say it's both
But what I see is a masterpiece
Of controlled emotion
Where each line was felt from deep within
A feeling so strong that words can't even describe
So,
In this drawing I see a man
A man who knows what he wants
A man who will go out and achieve his victory
A man of strength
Who will defend the ones he loves
As well as destroy what has been wronged
A man who can fix what has been broke
I see man who cares with a smile
To light up anyone's soul
With a gentle touch you become putty in his hands
With a look into his eyes
You know that nothing else matters
I see a man
Who enjoys a simple laugh
With the wit of the winds he controls the storm
What I see is a man
Who has fought his way into its heart
Traveling immensely through the treacherous weather
With every downfall and every smite
The storm will always try to fight
I see a man who wants to win
One day the storm will give in
The things I see I love the most
The scribbles to a drawing that has pulled me close
What I see is not skin deep
I see the hidden that refuses to peep
A little truth begins to show
I fall in love with what I know
So just some scribbles you may see
The melting of a heart is what happens to me

Kayton Hickenlooper
I write to clear my mind. To get out of the fog of daily confusion. An artist by heart. To live, laugh, and grow.
