Two Sides to a Story

Only One Truth

It is said that no matter how much it hurts they say tell the truth

I agree with honesty is the best policy, yet everyone was not raised right

So, they leave pain like a bad aching tooth

Be a man…Be a woman…there is always two sides to a story

Although, the truth you may just could not handle it if I was so blunt

Maybe if I sugar coat it you will feel less agony …or you could live with a lie

The truth is we are human and even though you want to know…for the moment lets put up a front

No monkey does not stop a show and time wasted no one can get back is what they say

However, the same people that tell you what to do is the one’s mostly on a ghost hunt

They say be careful of what you believe it just might not be true

Well, half of the things spoken could only be half the truth

Deep… so how can we get to the point of saying what’s on your mind

Just before you speak understand some words can be forgiven but not forgotten

So, in other words take my advice and just be kind

It is alright to agree to disagree because when two sides are being told

We see it from a different perspective to lead me to could there actually be two truths

Is it me or anyone else feeling some type of way…it is the truth and there is the lie that unfold

No matter how many times the story is told the only thing changes is how that person tells it

How will you tell the story? Will you be honest? That is the question that we need to know

I say we because that is your audience that listens to what gives them hype

Yes…there is two sides two a story and sometimes the less you know the better you are

I am not here to judge anyone …only to stay focused… key my eye on the prize and let my light shine bright
