Things I Learned from You

Pronounce every word with confidence,

never falter,

never let your eyes to the talking.

You don't know how often I looked into your soul and found it empty.

Kiss just enough to create hunger pains,

never leave them too breathless,

never walk away without leaving a mark.

You don't know how long I've waited to successfully starve you into madness.

Make them feel like they'll always be beneath you,

never sympathize,

never have a conscience.

You don't know the energy I've wasted trying not to feel anything around you.

Love them as if you know the definition of it,

never give them too little,

never give them enough.

You don't know how exhausting it is to adore someone who loves to live in pain.
