The Look

The eyes that soothe my anxious mind.

The eyes that soothe my anxious mind.

The soft smirk that that clams my hyper limbs.

The eyes that tell me I am beautiful.

You stare as if looking at a gem.

I feel so vulnerable to your gaze.

I can feel you look straight through me and my independent façade.

The soft smirk that tells me I’m desirable.

Making my heart race and my skin yearn to be kissed by your precious lips.

To feel your wanting hands handling my body.

To feel your physique pressed against mine

My want to hear, and feel, your breath going down my neck, growing.

The eyes that steal my breath away.

I cannot even look at you; to do so would be suicide.

The smile that tells me I am your everything.

I am yours. You need me.

You crave me. You see me.

So many fears. So many questions.

I ponder so many things day In and day out.

Sometimes, I begin to wonder if I have, in fact, lost my mind.

But, even with just a quick glance, when I spot that look.

All my questions are answered.

All my worries are silenced.

Just with that look that not only says “I love you”

But says everything that the word “love” truly means that your mouth cannot put into words.

Only that look.
