The Good Cowboy

He does exist.

He's got a wide brim lid that rides on his dash, wears a bob berg cross and buckle and his pockets are deep in cash. Works both ends of the arena, he's an all around hand, if you can't get the job done you bet this cowboy can.

He stays clean shaven and his hair stays cut, shirts stayed tucked in and his starched cinch jeans look good on his butt. The only white lines he chases is that rodeo road, stays away from drinking too much, pot heads, pills, and dope.

He's an athlete with his head on straight and money on his mind. Some hate on him and say he's just lucky, when really he's the handiest you'll find. If you're his buddy he'll have your back and if you're a stranger, well he's got it too. Stays out of other people's business, not worried bout what Bob did to Sue.

He's not about "cowboy shit," he's all "cowboy code," when it comes to working hard he's carries the whole load. Raised up right working hard on the farm, always does right and causes no harm.

He pulls out his lady's chair and opens up doors. She's always by his side on all his rodeo tours. He wears her on his arm but she's not just a trophy. She's his best friend and his rock and he always holds her closely.

He loves his God, wife, and kids and to them stays faithful and true. Always lending a helping a hand and does the best that he can do. Cowboy church on Sundays and home for dinner every night. Thanks the good Lord for his blessings and is last to start a fight.

Gold buckle bound with faith and talent, he's all in and ready for the challenge. Bull rope in his hand or rope dallied on his horn, he's last of the dying breed- a good cowboy he was born.
