It's time for our holiday
Where every day is a Saturday
With the melody of a Sunday
MP3 player fully charged
My list of anthems has become enlarged
Our souls become recharged
Neon memories of dancing in the bar
Revisited in the jukebox of a car
Thinking to do it again at the spa
Butchering high pitched notes
Warming up our throats
Dancing in the boats.
Mimicking guitar riffs
With air guitars on the cliffs
We have lots of gifts.
Hearts pumping on beaches
Happiness killing off leeches
Our hearts full of preaches
Bopping our heads to our favourite bands
Watching colourful stands
Slightly sinking on lemon sands
