They say we couldn't and we shouldn't, yet we still might
Do it,
You can either become part of the crowd, or find a way to fight
Through it.
Unleashed, finally your bark seems to have a little more bite
To it,
Did someone steal your heart? Or did you sign over the rights
To it.
Up, up and away, it seems our minds have gone
Astray,
We told you we were dreamers, why do you question where we
Lay.
We've voiced our opinions, embodying our mottos'
Tone,
We hadn't read the manual upon entering this auto
Zone.
Could we call it back if we decide to call it
Off?
Bye to our "Originality" as we watch imitators haul it
Off.
They left it up to us, because it came down to
Us,
We smile big so no one will attempt to attach a frown
To us.
Our time has begun to Tick in this flea
Market,
They've threatened to scope out the changes that
We target.
We could possibly lose our shell down this rabbit
Hole,
Escape from this kennel could possibly require a rabid
Soul.
Armed with a fist full of slapstick, we can fight this
Tragedy,
In hopes to earn heart, we built a Nas-car, not ashamed that it's
Raggedy.
Becoming one with your nature if we survive the
Call,
We arrived late hoping we wouldn't have to arrive at
All.
About the Creator
Michael avant
Hello fellow creators. In short I'm nothing more than a very big fan of this art form we all love called Poetry. Playing with words and thoughts, bending and twisting ideas is all part of this therapeutic yet challenging past time.
