Some days are rougher than most
In these times I hold you close
Because these times are set to test
The strength of our love
We are not at our best.
Some days are rougher than most
When you and I are not as close
But no day will lead me astray
No matter the strength of the storm
That may come this way.
Some days are rougher than most
But in each day I'll love you
As if we never had a rain storm or cloud
Whenever you need me
I'll always be around.
Even when the days look dark
I'm not saying everything will be
As simple as a walk in the park,
But I want you to know
I won't go astray
Even when we are having the roughest day.
