Ridged Cut Edge
The balance between great height and deeply engulfed depths: Does it exist or does it simply just differ in conjunction to individuality?

A refraction of light
split into a surreal intensity
paints a woeful image to the mentally powerless.
Socially inept and
internally damaged lay the gravestones of the cerebral cleansing
to gather involuntary memories casting out those dear held nostalgic vanities.
When the cold winds fray the leaves from your tree
Or the earth crumbles the soil beneath your roots,
None lay unsoiled but those rays of refracted light in reality.
And thus, upon mirror's edge and tempted visual strife,
from birth you take the pledge
to deal with this and this is life.
