Answers Without Questions

What would you do if I asked you how you felt about me?

Would you tell me the truth?

Would you lie to me?

Would you completely ignore the question?

Would you look at me the same way?

Would you even know what to say?

I have all these questions running in my mind all day and you don’t even know. It’s not fair that I can’t ask you them because I have no right to. But it’s also not fair that you act like you have feelings for me and still have a girlfriend that you claim to love, yet endlessly flirt with me. You can’t have it both ways. It’s either you stop flirting with me and stay with your girlfriend or breakup with her and tell me how you feel.

If you asked me how I felt about you…

I would tell you how happy you make me feel.

I would tell you that when I’m with you I feel protected.

I would tell you that your smile makes me weak.

I would tell you that you are the only one for me.

I would tell you that I might be in love with you.

So many questions in my head that I wish I wasn’t scared to ask. If only you’d ask me I would have so many answers waiting for you.
