North Vs South Weather

Where I live the snow is still active and dressing warm is required in the Spring

The people are busy trying to stay warm, yet some find the time to speak

Although, there are no bees around so no worry for a little sting

The winds some at 22 mph feels that it can pick you up… it is that strong

So many car accidents… so many buildings closed… it is just another day

The weather is so disrespectful that is sticks around for way too long

Some are cheerful, and others are sad because it interferes with their plans

Staying inside with a nice hot cocoa could not be that bad

I find joy in cooking, so I retrieve the pots and pans

Does the weather change your attitude?

I learned to adapt to the cold by layering up… yet I miss the warm weather

There is something about wearing shorts and going to the beach… such gratitude

However, I am an original Florida girl and I love fun in the sun

I love to go outside with the sun beaming on me and later returning to a.c… so sweet

My sundresses are so colorful and my hat that coordinates

Never worrying about shoveling the snow… Oh, what a treat

However, the sun has some smiling and others complaining that it is too hot

If only I could send you some of this cold weather to cool you off

Little do they know everyone wants to be right there in that spot

Furthermore, it depends on the person who are and what floats your boat

Personally, I am overdue and in need of a vacation for some sun

So, Florida I will see you soon… on the rack at home I will leave the coat

Each season is beautiful I must admit is what makes the world turns

This winter has been awful, and it just won’t leave or pause

Well, I am off to get some heat… that is what my body yearns
