Men Lie

A Poem for Womankind

"You're different."

I don't really understand what that means

though cause am I different because

I voice my rights and don't always

wear tight fucking jeans?

"You're one of a kind."

Oh my, I don't understand this line.

Am I really more than meets the eye?

Different from the last plus size girl with

Sky high brown eyes? Please...

Spare me the small talk,

I'll walk myself to the bedroom.

"You aren't like other girls."

What other girls? Why compare me to

someone I am not? These other girls are

more than just your sexual thoughts!

These women have fought and fought

for rights females simply haven't got.

"Oh, just another feminist, huh?

You're goddamn right, bruh. I believe in

equal rights between you and I. If you

don't, that just makes you the bad guy.
