Love You to Death

Sometimes love is a darkness.

Look at you,

Coy in your seduction,

Teasing my mind,

Testing my thought process,

Seeking the switches that will give you sway,

Magnetically drawn to the danger I represent,

And I,

Falling onto you like a dagger,

Parting this searing flesh,

Destroying internal organs,

Watch me,

Bleed out over your life,

Even as I try to contain my cooling heart,

Dance as I know you can,

Taunt me with your willingness,

Do not mistake my intentions,

Fucking is the easy part,

And I've no interest in that.

I desire to break you in ways you can never heal from,

Shatter your sense of self,

Reorganize your parts,

Stitch them together with my sinews,

Drown you in delicious agonies,

Make of myself scars,

That you will wear for life,

I crave to devour your soul,

Digest,

And regurgitate something that is neither you,

Nor I,

But a tragic blending of the two,

My fingers itch to rip out your eyes,

That none other may ever fall into their depths,

Baby,

I want to love you,

To death.

Word Smyth

I like to write. I never know where words will take me, or what discoveries I will make along the way. I've never shared my writing, it's very personal. Well, here is where I take the leap.
