Love is the Answer

Always.

Life without substance leads to destruction. If there's not something to mask the utterly disgusting truth of this world's reality then you crave to annihilate the source of the pain... you.

Life is all about mindset; who can lie to themselves enough to create a merry mentality between the thoughts of absentee; who can belittle themselves enough to pretend their circumstances are okay.

With drugs and alcohol, this is easy. An altered world rests manageable to the mind. Some say in these instances we are finally genuine. I don't believe so.

We are born into this world with a radiant and sound thought system. We cry when we need something, we whine when we don't agree with something, but we're content with our surroundings the rest of the time.

It's not until we're properly introduced to the sins that run this existence, that we begin to ponder on what the point of it all even is.

We run on lust, greed, jealousy, and unadulterated transgression. We have a sincere obsession with all things we shouldn't.

To cope, we use fortunes to cloud our thoughts from the unvocal veracity in ourselves that we're petrified to show because vulnerability to most, is a weakness.

To me, this is cowardly, but it's also why I believe love to be the only concept of true value in our universe.

Love is not a substance, love is not a sin, love is the ONLY thing that makes us truly genuine.

To love someone else as much as you love you is the selfless compassion that sets ourselves back to our original alignment. It doesn't cloud our minds, it opens up a new sky to them.

We can be vulnerable without being anxious of a brutal outcome. Only then do we not feel alone. Only then do we feel at home.

Amity is the resilience you seek when you pop that pill.

Justice is the brilliance you creep towards when you take a hit.

Effort is all you ask for when you take that sip.

Devotion is what was searched for before your skin dripped with the blood from the blade that visited deep inside your wrist.

Love is the answer. Not all of this.
