Live and Let Live
This poem is about moving on.

Live and let live.
Coexist with those who have harmed you.
Stop bleeding from tiny daggers shot your way.
Develop thicker skin and brush it off like nothing.
I was on a sinking ship.
I let that friendship make me jump overboard.
I swam to the beach.
I finally see the sunshine and feel the sand between my toes.
The first time in months.
Ironic enough I am not cool enough to travel to the beach with.
But that is okay because I will have a better time alone.
I am no longer drowning.
The cool breeze is relaxing.
I watch the waves crash.
All is well,
And I have moved on.
