I get out of bed
like I'd drank the night before
those gin glasses went down
I'd like some more
I get dress like an old man
the 70s are calling me even more
It's not always easy missing you
your soft skin and kissing you
It's not always easy
dreaming of you
It's not always easy
missing you
No coffee this morning
I stopped that awhile back
even quit my cigarettes
so I could live without painkillers
heart attack
Yeah... well this is where I am
one day at a time
Living my life my partner in crime
of making love with you in my prime
It's not always easy missing you
the touch of your soft
and kissing you
Over your valleys and stream
making you want it more than it seems
I got to run, you know
try to live those moment once more
I got hurry, you know
time isn't on my side
Old man don't catch no more breaks
without you by my side
It's not always easy, you know
missing you...
I got to go.

Before Sylvester the Cat, there was Sylvester the Dog
Sylvester was a Merrie Melodies canine Sylvester, the Cat, is a beloved Looney Tunes character who debuted in March 1947 in the animated short Life with Feathers. The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters. The cartoon short that was near and dear to Blanc's heart was Bird's Anonymous which starred the popular cat.
