Ideals I Have

Ideals residing in my heart,

praises from the achievements,

Is that all to my life,

Or should I strive for more?

Are there any more goals,

anymore targets to hit?

Should I run in the dark,

Only thinking about my destiny?

How would they judge me?

Can they look in my eyes?

Or are my triumphs,

only direction to my character?

When someone comes along,

wants to realize the persona,

not for my richness,

but for the inert essence I bear.

As a living I realize,

my job is only not to cross hurdles,

or win my races.

All I have to do,

Is to be true to myself,

and love the soul I am given.
