I Lost Track of Time When We Were Together
A Poem
Tonight, I danced imaginations boomingforever safe in the arms of nowOnce, I lost all sense of time and whenlosing senses feels liberating somehow
When will we peak into there and find ourselvescataclysmically intoxicated with usintertwining creating a love like thisUnseen until these and we becoming you and me
Tomorrow will bring herself worries and whatsperilous with whys bridges to cross and mountains to climbcare for here there shall be fearful serenityshe shall frolick along the cells entirely of me
Knowing calm to caress my arms and back warmth brings himself up to my lips and downCareful heart, beat thusly swift boom, boom-boom, boom, boom-boomAnd when the bangings cease kindly remind
all too familiarly what you feel deeply to be truthall heart curls and sheet booms pouring love into thisfor hopeful heart hears happy memories singing softlyand now she longs for forever thems.

It Only Took One Minute.......
It only took a minute. I was sitting at the computer in my office when the phone rang. I picked up the receiver and then laid it down my desk as I went to find the student who the call was for. Within seconds I was back at my desk, ready to resume typing, when I heard the student yelling obscenities at me for listening in to his call through the handset that was still lying on the desk. Sick and tired of the lies he was spewing, I was up running down the hall, ready to kill him. By the time I reached him, I had calmed enough not to hurt him, but as I turned back towards my room, I knew that I couldn’t go on like this any longer. The decision was clear. I had to leave.
