Not a single person is stopping you but you

If you have something in your life that you want to change

Just follow through

Yeah there may be consequences or it may never be easy

But the fact that it’s possible and you’re not trying just makes you seem lazy

You want your mental illness to go away?

Why are you basking in its rays?

Allowing yourself to burn and saying you’re okay?

That’ll never get you better days

Realize you’re the one excusing your love for yourself because if you truly did you’d go get help

There’s ways around every obstacle in your life

There’s ways around negativity and spite

Sometimes you have to leave your pride

To go get what you want to get out of life

All the time you need to believe what you want is right

And do whatever you can to make it see the light

Everyone has dreams they rationalize to ghouls

You’re a damn fool if you think you were put on this earth just to survive

We come with wants to lead us to what our souls need

But you have to see both sides

Take your responsibilities serious

But never let them override your heart

What it wants is most important

What it needs is less distortion

It doesn’t want your false hopes

“I’ll do it this time next month”

Or

“I’ll do it in a year or so”

Find ways to make it set in stone

Financial states don’t mean shit if you really want to cope

Money doesn’t fall from trees but if you have time to dabble in what you don’t have or didn’t do you have time and the ambition to make real moves

So push away the pride

Realize your excuses are lies

And don’t wear the disguise everyone else makes for you

Do what you want to

And trust that all your dreams will come true

With hard work from you

A pride-less pursuit

And help from others

All you have to do is kill
