Don't Do It!

Depression is a serious thing

It's just like song you cannot sing.

A song where every person has a story to tell.

But its hard to put to words, 'cause their minds are in Hell.

Don't judge. You don't know what they're going through.

Who knows. Perhaps some day they could be you.

Just be there. Sit there and listen.

'Cause who knows? They could go missin'...

Now, to those going through

Some bad times, this is for you...

It is ok to be sad.

So do not think yourself bad.

At the end of every Dark Tunnel there is Light.

Keep that in your mind even if it seems out of sight.

For you I am here.

Help is always near.

I know it is very hard, but please reach out.

Even if you are filled with numbness and doubt.

Whether or not you see,

You're not alone, trust me.

So please, don't do it, put down that knife.

There's so much potential in your life.

You're beautiful in many a way.

I do not care what those low lives say!

I know you have cut and have self-harmed.

I will not judge and am not alarmed.

Your scars represent a battle.

One that can make the soul rattle.

I know you've wanted to cut for many days.

But please don't do it. There many better ways.

Seek therapy, outlets, or call someone,

Do not let yourself think you have no one.

Harming and pain won't truly help it.

It is just not a healthy outlet.

You are not ugly, you are not weak.

You're beautiful, but help you must seek.

And know that ending it all, will not end the pain.

It would just then magnify for others to gain.

Look at yourself... if you ended this,

Many opportunities you'd miss.

Please, Don't do it.

Find an outlet.

It will be ok, you got this

Without you... you, many would miss.

Just please, don't do It... keep on fighting.

Every dark cloud has silver lining.

Don't worry, I am here.

Breathe and have your mind clear.

I know you are in dismay,

But please listen as I say...

Please... don't quit...
