Day 2

"Sorry, I am not sorry..."

Sorry, I am not sorry.

I know you do not

agree with the actions

I have taken to

get where I am.

The thing is,

I do not regret

doing things, since

had I not done

these things, I

would be worse off.

It has not hurt

you had nothing to

do with your being.

Why bother me

on my choices that

did not affect you?

You come to me

and always ask

the same questions,

always hoping to

receive the answer

you want to hear.

Despite me telling you

the opposite,

you always ask me

the questions like

you're a parrot

repeating what it hears.

I will never

understand as long as

you do this.

I can see it in your eyes.

You keep yourself in disguise,

not opening up to anyone,

not even yourself.

You want to let it out,

the person you really are,

but you won't.

You convince yourself that

you are fine with the way things are.

I know that you

aren't happy. You

have never been happy.

I see you stand

there, and I know

you are not acting normal.

I don't really understand

why you act like this

sometimes, but I don't

ask why. I stopped

wondering a long time

ago. I've seen you

like this so many times.

It's not normal, but

it is normal for you.

It's not right, and

nobody else I know, knows

someone like you.

Each time, you are

very tired, or you act

strange, or both.

I see you, and you

only seem tired today,

but I secretly wish

you weren't doing

all the strange things.
