Come up from Below

A long-lost mentor fallen from grace detriments the student.

Feet crossing lines in a drunken craze

The one I once knew drowned in the caverns of time by that blatantly disturbed curse

My theory remains yet unproven, albeit the evidence may shatter my soul.

Once so proud, you inspired my childish mind and gave breath to my youthful artistry

Only now becoming the fear we all hold too close to heart.

Shameless does the crow fly scouring the town for its next feast yielding nothing but self-destruction in a blinding greed.

The distance in your eyes haunts me still, as the teardrops do hinder the light

But now I see the tragedy before me woken unfortunately deep in the land of the living soon to fall even from Lucifer's grace.
