Capital Incision

A Poem

I have quelled habitual boredom

With endless degrees of whoredom

Until the moment time reciprocates

I have sought for essence

In fabricated presence

Acquainted with the past far too late

Denial in this endless contract

Cut off from making contact

Mismeasuring each and every effect

Considering this play my dreaming

Story order form and redeeming

Capital kept only for the elect

See I did myself in you

This other charity granted to

Being in the eyes of another

For which I left an open gate

To keep us in this cursed state

With sky my father and earth my mother

Though it was prayed with words clear

Through glass darkly seen this mirror

Wisdom granted upon decision

When sought with earnest care

And every haste made fair

Sealing the evidence of each incision
