He looks gently with his deep thoughts into my eyes
Confessing his love is genuine
Yet beneath he holds a dark side full of lies
A womanizer who enjoys others' attention to build his ego
Not worried about repercussion for his actions
Never thought the woman he loved could let go
He sits in a room reminiscing of her
No one he meets can quite equal
Love is lost due to poor decisions left him astir
He calls her to inform that over time he is a changed man
No longer do I engage for someone to replace You
She replied, oh how I have missed You so much Dan
Every day when you were trying to find yourself
Cheating with multiple women behind my back
I took down all your pictures off the shelf
Yet memories of us is all I have left
I deserve a man to be appreciative of the woman I am
So, a life lesson, we are officially over
I hold my head high as I have moved on with Sam
However, you lost me way before I walked out the door
Yet I believed in you, so I gave you another chance
So, from now on all your calls I choose to ignore
