Autumn Leaves

Who We Are

By Noah HagedornPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Every leaf falling

Is like a piece of me melting away

Like I strip off my old self

The trees loose all that made them what they were.

The autumn leaves fall away leaving nothing but a bare skeleton of a tree

It’s true self is revealed and laid bare for the whole world to see.

The vulnerability brings on new growth

Just like we peel back our layers and reveal who we really are

It’s our autumn leaves that show us who we really can be.
