Do you have what it takes...?
Blood is a powerful thing
Draws things near that don't belong here
Takes bits and pieces of your own soul
The Healer must give and never take
Ripping away the essence of her own life
Magic, the exchanging of gifts
Guarded by small salt lines
To keep the healer entrapped, protected
Silver edge soft against her pale softness
Drawing out her most precious sacrifice
Bright red against her skin
The hair weaved in braids, soaked in blood
Thrown to the fire
Consumed by the blazing inferno
To awake the spell
Inciting a wicked feel
Filling the air with witchery
Ah, the shadows take notice
And they draw ever near
As she sees one in particular
One with no shape
No substance
Sinuous, like a snake
One who enters her guarded white lines
