Yourself

Just be you.

Hey chicken,

Don't let them tell you who to be,

Take it from me, and learn from an early age that what's inside of you comes out brighter than ever!

Even if it's odd, do what you love to do.

It's a pleasure to be you,

Keep your chin up chicken.

Don't let them tell you what to say,

Because in the world you can be you, or you can just be okay,

And the person to be is you,

You have the potential of the world,

If you stay true to you.

No matter what people try to say,

Swat them away if it's negative,

Be the dove with the olive branch,

But always keep your chance of being you!

Don't let them take you.

Don't give in to pressure to perform, Like everyone,

Don't let the spark go when you could have shone!

And chicken if you feel like it's already too late,

Take me up on it!

Because there's a way to reverse it, you just have to be strong, patient with yourself, and it'll come, the person you are, who's life has begun, the person who when they escape has the world to take and enjoy, to wonder, to have passion, knows when to see ration, but knows when to play and just spends the day.

Because if you can be you, be happy, be passionate, without bowing down to everyone, worrying about everyone,

I'll give a sigh of relief for you Hun.

I'll give a poster to you Hun,

And a big fat hug to you Hun,

Because once your life has begun you shouldn't let it loose, but too tightly don't hold on.

Just enjoy it as it's going,

And let everyone be knowing, the you that's you,

The shower you, the power you, the dream you, the shopkeeper seen you, anything that you want and you are.
