I can see right through you,
And I know that scares the hell out of you.
When the person right in front of you
Has just figured you out,
Without you making it direct.
I can see everything,
Your pain and your self-esteem
The wrongs you can’t undo
And horrors you’ve come to terms with
That smothered you into who you walk as today.
Beautiful pain I want to embrace
So I can comfort you close,
I go where you go.
I don’t exactly know what this means,
But I want to agree that I love you.
I hope you love me too
