You Win

Some call you Fate.

You win.

You get what you want.

My happiness,

My love,

My life.

You get to take from me,

everything that made me human.

You get to take from me,

what keeps me going every day.

You win.

I’m tired of trying to play this game of life anymore.

I’m tired of never being heard.

I’m tired of hurting.

I ask for love.

Nothing more.

But love comes at a price.

And if I don't have enough to pay that debt

I loose love.

You win.

I will be a robot in society.

Walking in and out of every day and every life, as if I was never there.

They will heal from the love we had.

But my heart will forever be laying on the ground.

In pieces,

As you take the last blow.

I don’t know who you are,

And I do not know your name,

Some call you god,

Some call you destiny,

Some call you Fate.

If I am fated to be alone for the rest of my life?

Then so be it.

You win.

I will not fight you any longer.

I will not try to prove I have enough to give to everyone.

I will not try to show my heart is there for someone I love.

Because in the end,

You win.

I will be alone.

I will be unloved.

I will be gone.

You win.
