You Took

You Took and Never Thought About

I never once saw you in that light.

Light that someone shouldn't ever have.

Have the eyes look around you.

You who took something that didn't need to.

You never once thought of what you as doing.

Doing something that I didn't want to.

To be pressured into doing things.

Things that should be asked, "if it's okay."

Things that should be agreed to.

To be intimate with each other.

Other than pushing me into.

Into the act that I didn't want to.

Into the unwanted touching.

Touching personal areas.

Areas that shouldn't had been messed with.

With the act, knowing that I said no.

With the words, "I do not want to!"

To be afraid of waking other people.

People who shouldn't hear the cries.

Cries of being forced to.

Cries after it was over.

Over and you finally left.

Left there in my room.

Room where I left the tears out.

Room that you invaded.

Invaded and never thought about;

About how I felt.

Felt betrayed and used.

Felt like a piece of me was taken.

Taken without a simple asking of permission.

Permission that you did not have.

Having to take because you ignored me.

Having to get what you wanted.

Wanted something that I didn't.

Didn't want to cause uproar.

Uproar that would had scared others.

Uproar that would cause screaming.

Screaming that they shouldn't wake up to.

To someone they look up to.

To someone with unconditional love for.

To smile as you left.

Left and thought my smile was real.

Real but crying once you was gone.

Gone in that silver car.

Car disappeared into the distance.

Distance that I was relieved to feel.

Feelings that I was scared to admit.

Admit something that I never thought of.

Admit that someone that I once loved.

Loved with all my heart.

Heart that you took apart.

Apart when you raped me.
