You See

And Then There Was Me

You could have a depressed life

Where everything you see is fire

And every time you open your eyes you want to die

And every time you think it’s just suicide

Like all you ever want is to look beside you

And realize life is what you want it to be

What you see is what you want to see

Along with who you want to be and exactly like what you want to feel

This is real

Like the memories we hide away because sadness eats away at our souls

Shatters them across the world

So now the pieces are hidden far away

In places we’ve never been before

So forgive me for walking around like a soulless man

When I live a life with no emotion

This is my motion

This is the wave which I ride

Walk around all the time quiet inside, my soul probably died but I’m there

I still show myself from far so it’s fair

I still watch you when you work hard

I watch you when your life seems at its lowest point

And when it seems like no more can be done

It’s time for you to let go

Pull your hand away slowly

Breathe gently

Close your eyes

And lay there

Outside in nature

Surrounded by greens and surrounded by blues

Where no one could possibly find you

And try to make themselves a part of your life

This is where you take the knife

Cut the rope and be glad you did

All along it was your decision

Now you’re living your life with intuition

No more suspicion

Show them who you are

Show them exactly how you act and how you become loud

Show them what type of path your life held

Show them what you see in the sky and if they could possibly understand you this time

Show them what love means to you

What words mean to you

Tell them what happiness feels for you

Ask them if they can agree

Or if they could possibly see the truth behind the sadness

Ask them if they enjoy their time, when they whine, and throw things across rooms

Ask them how much honest time they get to themselves

If they work too hard and never give it a rest

Or if they sit at home because they just have no friends

Ask them

Tell them

Show them

Understand Them
