You Made Me

Her Mother’s Heart and Her Fathers Soul, and Her Own Identity

Our girl. My girl. Your own girl.

My beautiful daughter. Lylha.

You gave me a reason that I never knew before.

In your soul is a passion that I simply adore.

You showed me courage that I could never believe.

Your aspirations are ones I could never achieve.

Your compassion, your independence, your fiery heat does ignite,

A beauty and warrior that in your eyes burn so bright.

From the moment I held you, I knew true,

I wouldn’t change you for the world, but I would change the world just for you.
