You're floating and your mind is clear. You let the movement of the ocean rock you with her comforting arms, and let the waves cover you like a blanket. You feel at peace.
When you open your eyes a brilliant sapphire ocean immediately catches their attention. Her surface twinkling in the sunlight like a thousand diamonds. You feel at peace.
The sapphire dulls and the rocking turns violent so you decide to leave, but the ocean refuses to release you and pulls you deeper into her now unwelcome embrace. You struggle but the chill had now caught up to you, and your moves become sluggish. The air you so desperately need leaves in tiny bubbles that exit your mouth, so you hold your breath. You don't feel at peace.
There's a roaring in your ears, the ocean is screaming at you to accept your fate. You tried to leave her and this is now your punishment. The need for oxygen becomes strong but you ignore it, even though your head feels like it's going to explode. You don't feel at peace.
Then everything stops, and once again your mind is clear. You've given in, you can not fight anymore. Your body jolts as you breath in the water, and then you go still. Your eyes become heavy and you begin to think of your loved ones.
You say a quick goodbye and a hidden tear slips from your eye. You know this is the end, but you are not afraid anymore. Your eyes close for the last time. Your soul has left your body and flown to the heavens. Once more you're at peace.
