You Couldn't Just Take the Map

I guess my treasures weren't worth it to you. Oh well. Other fish in the sea. #VocalNPM

I can’t believe I almost fell in love

With a pirate.

I can’t believe…

Well I just can’t believe.

Sure, everyone should have redemption.

And I gave it to you, twice.

And almost gave away my treasure… twice.

I mean, it’s not like I made it easy for you.

I gave you a map…

Man, must have been hard.

Must have been tough being told that

One way would get you the treasure,

And the other would get you, well... nothing.

Yeah.

Tough.

You’re a rigid pirate so you understand sarcasm don’t you?

Good.

So you understand that I gave you two options:

Number one: speak up!

And

Number two: speak up!

But of course you pirates like to play by your own rules.

So you took a vow of silence.

So guess what you got?

Nothing.

The treasure I had waiting for you…

Oh, you would have relished in it!

A golden beauty that lies in the center of my complicated sea.

I gave you a third second chance.

And you decided to open a bottle of rum instead.

You didn’t even speak to me.

So, naturally…

I left.

You chose not to move.

You stayed aboard the jolly roger, with your precious bottle of rum.

Stayed put.

Glad I didn’t give you my heart.

Thanks for everything, love.
