to watch the dance of leaf and branch
floating on a windy breeze
puts me in a place where tired shoulders
can finally be at ease
I can hear the whisper of this rugged land
release the stress of life's demand
you are of the earth and land and sea
place your heart where it is meant to be
rejoice in laughter and love
receive the gifts from up above
the sun to guide you through each beautiful day
and the moon at night to show you the way
the stars to mark the loved ones who keep watch for you
who applaud all the good deeds you do
the mountains who let you see the beauty of life
the storms that show you to persevere through strife
for in the end when all is through
you will see the many facets of you
