You

A Poem About You, for You

You were sweet,

You told me what I wanted to hear.

You climbed the walls I built.

You made me love you,

But hate myself.

You slowly damaged me

Piece by piece

You created a monster.

You created someone you did not love

And left out of the blue.

I was left with a broke heart and damaged soul.

You only did one thing right,

You made me build myself again

Into someone I was proud of.

You were my world,

But now my world is everything in life

But you.
