Wrong

Pain never ends. We only become numb.

Pain is enduring.

Enduring means long-lasting.

They say "Time will heal you."

They say "It will never last."

They say "In a year, maybe even a few months, it will be like it never mattered."

But.

They are wrong.

True pain remains.

You will never forget the harsh words that person said to you that drove you to the point that could have had no return.

You will never forget the tears that were shed over that partner who never cared as much as you did.

You will never forget the heartache from the unexpected loss of that person that meant so much who was just ripped away.

You will never forget that pain.

That pain does not cease.

It is a lion's roar in the wild.

So loud that the sound penetrates the silence.

It breaks the silence.

Pain breaks Peace.

Peace is fragile.

Pain is strong.

But Pain and Peace have a relationship.

The star-crossed lovers resemble a wave in the ocean.

There is a build of Peace and the emotions that go along with it.

Until the crash.

The crash is just the breaking of the "forgotten" pain.

Just when you thought life was Peaceful, the waves crash and the Pain is back.

But our hearts and minds differ from the qualities of ocean waves.

Pain and Peace both reside in the depths of our hearts and minds.

Neither ever cease, but our hearts and minds go numb.

This is what they meant by "forgotten"

Maybe instead of "forgotten," we should use "numb"

Pain is not forgotten.

Pain becomes numb.
