The Ones I Don't Want to Write

One for my mom to tell her how sorry I was and how much I hid from her.

One for my dad to tell him that there wasn’t anything he could’ve done.

One for my brother so he knows that he really was my soulmate and I was going to hate missing out on seeing all of his future accomplishments.

One for my best friend to apologize for not talking to her about how I was feeling.

One for my third-grade teacher to let her know I really did try to meet the expectations she had of me.

One for the boy that asked me to be his girlfriend to tell him that I only said no because I think he deserves better.

One for the really nice waitress that I had the other day to tell her she was the last person that made me smile.

One for my ex to let him know it was my fault.

One for my dog to thank her for licking my tears away.
