Worthy

My heart hurts

And my throat burns with tears

But I want to keep the tears at bay

I’ll let it fall when the end truly nears

Try as I might , nothing is good enough

Nothing that I do

Seems good enough for you

However I know my worth

You are who I must leave behind

It hurts much more than having to give birth

I know leaving you is the best thing for us
