Wolf

My beast in disguise, come play with me.

I feel conflicted. On one hand, I want you with every ounce of my being. On the other hand, I realize that I don’t know you as much as I want to.

Everyone else seems to know you like the back of their hand. They seem to be reaching a part of you that I never could… and still can’t.

They all see you as the goof. The one who’s just a big child who laughs as much as he can. But they don’t see all of you. They don’t see the wolf.

The wolf that loiters behind the Knight’s armor. The wolf that only comes when called upon. That made sure the Knight was always safe.

That wolf doesn’t always come out, but when he does, everyone should fear him. Because he’s a beast. One not to be messed with. And as crazy as it sounds, I wanna release him. I want to unleash the beast. Let him out of his cage and help him ravage anything in his path.

I want to play and I want to destroy. I also want to tame him. But I know I won’t be able to. And I don’t mind.

I just want the beast to get used to my demons. And then maybe we can really have some fun.
