With a Spark and a Flame...

A Poem

With a spark and a Flame

I've erased your name...

A new beginning from this end...

In which I wont have to pretend

That I'm feeling okay

Just to start the day...

Smoke rises from the flames

erasing all of your games...

No more will your words hunt me?

For now they lay in ashes, you see...

The smell of the fire wasn't so nice.

But it was worth the price...

All your words, cards, poems, gone

Shame I believed them for so long...

My Prince was just a frog.

But I was blinded loves fog...

So thru those ashes I shall heal.

And discover something that is real...

Nothing left, physical or otherwise to see.

Out of sight out of mind, it shall be...

Now you see my friend.

This is your end...

Out of sight, my heart and out of my head,

our love is dead...

Blue and orange flames took the rest away.

And my new beginning starts today...

As the sun sets and the new moon rises,

There will be no more surprises...

For my life will start anew,

And no longer will I be blue...
